This is event is for high school and transfer students.
Come for an official prospective student visit and end the experience viewing a total solar eclipse on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
You may register as an individual student with guests or sign up to come with a group of students from your high school or community college.
SEclipse Visit Experience Agenda
9am: Check-in begins at Academic Hall
9:30am: Admissions & Aid Presentation in Academic Auditorium
10am: Walking Campus Tour
11:30am: Lunch at Towers Landing
12:30pm: SEclipse Block Party
12:30 - 1:15 pm NASA Teach-In Presentation
1:58pm: 4 Minutes of Solar Eclipse Totality
Questions & Answers
At 12:30 pm, all guests will be guided to the SEclipse Block Party between Academic Hall and Kent Library. Totality of the eclipse is set to happen at 1:58 pm. You are welcome to stay on campus until that point or leave as desired.
While we hope the rain will stay away, we have planned a backup location in the chance the weather does not cooperate so you can still have a remarkable day on campus!
Individual vehicles my park in the visitor parking lot on the corner of Henderson Street and Normal Avenue (385 N Henderson Ave, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). Buses should drop off students at the corner of Henderson Street and Normal Avenue and park the bus in the Show Me Center at the North parking lot (buses are restricted from parking in the solar panel lot due to height limitations).
