Main Campus Tour (Fall 2021)
Description
We're excited to have you on campus! Currently, we are scheduling tours of campus with guidelines to provide optimal safety. Campus tours will include:
- presentation with an admission counselor (30 minutes)
- tour of campus with a student ambassador (1 hour)
- faculty appointment upon request on registration form (30 minutes, Monday - Friday)
Please note the tour route and campus visit experience has been augmented to ensure the safety of your family and our campus community.
If you would like to also tour the River Campus, please sign up for the River Campus Tour (Fall 2021) event as well. You can attend both the Main Campus Tour (Fall 2021) and River Campus Tour (Fall 2021) events on the same day.
Questions & Answers
Here at Southeast, we take the safety of our visitors and campus community very seriously. That's why the Office of Admissions has implemented the following precautions for campus tours.
- At this time, mask wearing while on campus is recommended but not required. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable visiting SEMO. Therefore, Admissions staff will wear masks inside buildings if requested by a visiting family.
- Maintain proper hand hygiene while on campus by washing hands or utilizing hand sanitizer that is provided on campus.
- Perform a symptom assessment before arriving on campus for symptoms of COVID-19, including fever (100.4 degrees or above), cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Contact us to reschedule should any member of your party be experiencing any of these symptoms or feel ill on the day of your visit.

Please expect to be outside for the majority of the campus tour. Therefore, you will need to dress according to the weather.
We also have a hilly campus. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and contact the Campus Tour Program at 573-651-5945 or tours@semo.edu if you have concerns about being able to walk the campus.
Yes! We would love to have your family visit SEMO with you!
Upon arrival to campus, a student ambassador will greet you at your vehicle and guide you to Academic Hall. Your Campus Visit will begin in the Office of Admissions.
That's okay! Just let us know when you arrive and we will provide you with one.

Faculty Appointments are available upon request Monday - Friday. If you would like a faculty appointment, please include your request on the registration form.
